Qeleshe is a traditional Albanian brimless cap made from wool or felt, or other woolen materials. The cap has multiple shapes such as fez cap shape, dome-shape, hemispherical, and so on. Further, it is most commonly white in color.
The cap has a distinctive smooth texture achieved by a multi-step process of first hammering the wool on a wooden instrument until the wool strands get intertwined. After this, the resulting material is pressed until flat. It is soaked for twenty-four hours, and soap is used as a binding material.
