World Of Hats
Hats are a type of apparel that protects the head from sun, wind and rain. Hats can also be worn to protect the head from cold days. They have various shapes and sizes as well as materials such as felt, straw, wool, cotton or tweed.
Throughout history, hats have been a powerful symbol of status and social class. In the early days of America, men wore tricornes to show their wealth and privilege while women wore bonnets to demonstrate their modesty. Hats were also a way to create unity between different colonies. Hats can be traced back to the ancient Egyptians who wore them as a symbol of social status.
Today there are many different styles of hats and caps. A common mistake that many people make when describing a hat is not considering the type of hat. There are 156+ different types of hats in the world.
We are in a mission to collect them all in place! Thanks for helping and visiting us. Enjoy!
