A cricket cap is a soft felt cap that has a baggy fit and is worn by cricketers. The cap is made from six to eight panels sewn together. The brim is small in the shape of a crescent. Even with the baggy fit, the cap has an elastic rear that stabilizes the hat on the wearer’s head. The brim is just the right size, neither too long nor curved to reduce visibility and nor too short to expose the eyes to sunlight.

Over time, the thin line difference between the Cricket caps and Baseball caps has reduced. Most teams have adopted the baseball caps as part of their uniforms as they are more comfortable to wear over long periods.
