Cloche hats are made from materials that fit in a snug manner to the wearer’s head. Therefore, the most popular material is felt. However, if desired to be worn in summer, they can be made from straw or sisal too.
Cloche hats generally have a single colored ribbon to make the hat look more attractive. They look best for short-haired wearers but are typically meant for women. They became so popular at one point in time, that they were used as bridal wear too and, therefore, decorated with beads and lace.
