A Whoopee Cap is a modified hat made from the Fedora. The brim was scalloped and trimmed and turned upwards to form a royal crown-like structure, while the actual crown was remodeled to look somewhat like a skull cap.
These modifications resulted in a completely different hat that had a fun and goofy appearance. Although associated with a blue-collared worker, a Whoopee Cap is popularly known as the Jughead cap after the famous comic book character, Jughead Jones.
