The Hatter was a character in the famous book Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. The Hatter wore a signature Top Hat that came to be known as the Mad Hatter hat. It is a large Top hat with a widening crown as it gains height.
The ribbon around the crown had a price tag with an old British pricing system mentioning 10/6p conveying that the hat’s price was 10 shillings and six pence. In other versions of the story, the tag also says, “In this style 10/6.”
It is more of a collector’s item for the fans and is always used in the story’s reenactments in movies or theater.
