Lomphok is a ceremonial conical Thai hat worn by royalty and nobility. It is a ceremonial headgear worn by men. It has a tall conical crown and has a structured bamboo frame. A white cloth is wrapped around it to make it look more fashionable. Lomphok doesn’t have a brim but is decorated with flower construction at the bottom of the crown.

Lomphok gained popularity when the Thai diplomats visited the French King Louis XIV court in the late 1600s. In present times, it has become a special occasion hat in the Thai culture and is worn during the Royal Ploughing Ceremony or the Royal Funeral.
