The signature aspect of the cap is its tiny pinholes all over. Kofia is one of the many popular caps in African culture. It is similar to Bargashia and Fez, but it doesn’t have embroidery or a tassel, unlike the other caps.

The most common color for a Kofia is white; however, matching Africa’s colorful culture can be multicolored. The white Kofia is worn by Islamic sects while offering prayers and for other formal occasions. Most white kofia have a floral pattern design them to make them look more decorative.
