A kippah is a Religious Jewish cap similar to a skull cap, but it doesn’t cover the whole head most of the time. It is around a dome-shaped cap worn by Jewish men on various religious and ceremonial occasions. The color and pattern suggest allegiance to a particular religious sect.

Kippah can be made of crochet or knitted materials or suede, velvet, cloth, and leather too. The shape and size of the Kippah vary a little; some a very tiny and therefore only sit at the top of the head, while some are bigger and cover a lot of the head. Some might even be big enough to cover the entire skull, but that is very rare.
