The Aviator Cap is mostly tight-fitting headwear worn by fliers. It is often made of leather and has long ear flaps and a chin strap to make them fit tightly and be flying–friendly.

The Aviator cap is mostly worn with goggles, and therefore, the shorter or flatter front is preferred. The cap covers the head completely and maybe some portion of the forehead sometimes, but mostly it doesn’t cover the forehead at all.

There can be many bill designs; if the cap has to be used in colder regions, then there will be some fur lining on the front and the earflap. However, if the cap has to be worn on warm days, then the bill is generally short and bent down or foldable upwards, depending upon the desired visibility.
